Jeff was admitted to the New Brunswick Bar in June 2008.  His practice focuses mainly on the fields of corporate and commercial law.  His experience includes incorporating and re-organizing companies, advising clients on corporate governance issues and regulatory compliance, negotiating and implementing commercial transactions involving the purchase and sale of assets and shares in businesses, acting for clients in commercial financing transactions and on bankruptcy and insolvency matters, as well as advising clients on any number of other legal aspects which affect their businesses.

Education:
Jeff graduated St. Thomas University in 1998, where he earned a Bachelor in Arts with an honours in history and political science, and earned various awards for extracurricular involvement and outstanding contributions to student life.  In 2001, he completed a Master of Arts in International Relations and European Studies from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England.  He completed his legal studies at The College of Law of England and Wales, in Guildford, England, and the University of Ottawa.  In between studying law in Guildford and Ottawa he spent several years working in the federal government in Ottawa.

Professional Interests:
Jeff is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of New Brunswick, and the Saint John Law Society.

Outside Our Office…
Jeff lives in uptown Saint John.  He enjoys being involved in the community, and is involved in several volunteer and fundraising projects.  He also sits of the Board of Directors of the South End Daycare, as well as the Board of Directors of St. Thomas University’s alumni association.
