David was admitted to the New Brunswick Bar in June 2010. As an articling clerk, David worked for several provincial commissions and administrative tribunals where he gained valuable experience in administrative law, regulatory law, and labour law. David is proud to offer his clients legal services in both official languages.
Education:
David graduated from the University of Alberta and the Université catholique de Lille with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics in 2005. While at the University of Alberta he was active in student politics and was elected the Vice-President (Academic) of the Campus St.Jean, the University’s francophone campus. In 2009 David completed his legal studies at the Université de Moncton where he represented the University at several regional and national advocacy competitions and participated in a mentorship program offered through the New Brunswick Court of Appeal.
Professional Interests:
David is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of New Brunswick, the Saint John Law Society, l’Association des juristes d’expression francaise du Nouveau-Brunswick (AJEFNB) and l’Association des juristes d’expression francaise de l’Alberta (AJEFA).
Outside Our Office...
New to Saint John, David has been busy involving himself in his new community. He is an active leader in the Scouting movement and enjoys building the leadership and outdoor skills of Saint John’s youth. David is also an active volunteer with the New Brunswick chapter of the Canadian Diabetes Association.
David is an avid outdoorsman and loves spending his time in Saint John’s and New Brunswick’s beautiful public parks. He stays active by hiking, camping, running and snowboarding.
